65A friend runs a large Canadian food manufacturer. I asked him the difference between his operations in Canada and USA. He told me that Canada has become an expensive country to operate. High taxes, large geographical footprint for shipping, and a punitive carbon tax that increases costs to his suppliers of ingredients which adds costs to his final product. It’s a government created problem.
