I don't think that the average LCBO job is any more difficult than the average fast food restaurant job. Both operate a cash register, accept payment and send the customers on their way, stock shelves or put product away, sweep floors and clean up. The only difference is that the fast food places can't hold the province hostage and make ridiculous demands. The policy for getting on full time has been in place for at least 10 years according to this article. Don't like it? Go work somewhere else.
I seriously doubt that the shelter village residents can afford to be sitting in a bar and drinking 6 bucks a bottle beer all day just because it's close by. Same goes for the $40 for a quarter ounce of lousy weed nearby.
