What would you suggest they do with this guy. Remember if they put ever single incident like this behind bars(how long would you like)who would pay the additional cost. We the taxpayers you and me would need more police officers more judges more prison guards more prison staff larger prisons plus plus plus. I complain about the taxes I pay now.

Drive down Leith St now beside Paterson Park (why is I the fountain not working) wasted food paper cups and old clothes. Take a look at the front area of Victoriaville and Victoria St East same thing there. Kam River park a mess. This little encampment we want to build will just be one more place the taxpayers will have to clean up. Tell the provincial and federal government to give us 2 blank cheques and we will rethink the issue.

The situation has stabilized (are they still around or are they gone. Chief Taylor said the suspects had probably been in the community for some time. With the description of the 2 they should have been quite noticeable.

A city department where the additional money is definitely justified.

Very poor move on the city’s part to be offering anybody $. But the damage has been done and opens the door to larger amounts.

Why do we have to go ahead with this plan as there are so many unknowns after it is built. Tent cities all over town now and why do we figure that will change. It’s like being told if I move I have to live in Westfort or River Terrace only. Maybe I don’t get along with some of the people that live there and I think that’s the reason for the current spread. Let’s look at some other alternatives lots of empty units all over town. I have not heard any positive comments on this little village since it was introduced. Except for a few most of the tents that are here now disappear every winter.

Get a library card if you were old enough pick a book be late retuning it and have to pay 25 cents before you could get another book. Times have changed and people complaining about the proposed upcoming changes don’t see that. I was at two information events over the past few months at two of our libraries both where overcrowded with no room for a proper presentation. They are meeting places for all kinds of reasons. Togman can see that and I hope the people of Thunder Bay give him our backing.
