Inch gets 90 days for saying bad things and the Mayor gets 60 days for fraud and stealing. Get rid of Mayne, Bain, Mitchell and Horsfield; Gardiner already not running

Vote to take over Castle Arms (a registered charity) because of no public oversight, yet give to the Ski Hill no questions asked.

The motion will not see the light of day. Mendocino and the Mayor's group that make up the majority of the CasselHolme board do not to be questioned about their backroom plans to get the Cassell Arms assets. Case in point - when King & Mayne tried to question the Board at their last meeting they were voted off. Albeit the process was less stressful than being barred by 7 armed cops. Don't be surprised to see the cops at the next council meeting when this motion is presented.

Maybe Bay today should reach out to the 2 employees who resigned months before. The answers are probably related to why the mayor & Councilor resigned

The reduction has a lot to do with the illegal dumping you see everywhere. Just because it doesn't reach the landfill doesn't mean there is less.

What qualifies this person as an expert? I was an avid hunter for years trying to harvest the biggest buck. Searching the record books I discovered the biggest bucks came from States & Provinces that produced corn & grains. It is common knowledge that the bigger & healthier deer live on agriculture land. Feeding deer in the winter is beneficial to the survival of the herd.

Supervisors have leadership and expertise in governance, finance, and/or public accountability matters. Electing a Board is more about popularity than ability. The students ( the future) deserve better and the taxpayer can't afford waste. Time for a complete overhaul. Doing the same thing over & over and expecting a different result is not only insane it is not affordable.

In recent news - Calvin's OPP cost are increasing and one resident stated police response is "iffi". Are we starting trip down the slippery slope of vigilante justice.

If it ain't broke why fix it. Mediation can't work when one group has what another group wants. The legal route will take time and the Mayor's Group motive will be clear if CasselHolme comes in over budget.

We have reach the point where we can’t afford the level of service. Time to look at reducing service. With global warming winter maintenance cost should be going down, not up.

Bill, great comparison of the leaders. Please turn your witt to the government's. Democrats King, Mayne, Inch, Vresboch, & Democrat Senate leader Jamie Schummer, Press secretary Gord Leavitt, Commerce Secretary Maggie Lutnick etc.

Agree. The drivers are unsafe. Driving at posted speeds during a storm should be considered dangerous driving.

We have too many levels of government with deep pockets. The Conservation Authority realignment was a good move. The Feds are reducing the Civil Service and we should follow that move.

Using reserves means the increase is not real and it will catch up to us eventually. North Bay has a large retired population that will get a 2% increase so the 3.95% increase will catch up to us even sooner is the urgent reality. Tax increases need to be tied to the cost of living increases.

It would be a shame if the 2 senior staff left because of the resigning Mayor and councilor. North Bay - sound familiar? Too bad our Mayor didn't do the right thing and resign.

We are not blissfully unaware; we are too aware. We have too much news and 99% is negative. Wars all the way to kindergarten children protesting Crayola stop making light blue crayons. Is there nothing good about the world. We should go back to talking about the weather

Mike Adamson. Your comment offers nothing except the handling of the present homeless situation and mayor are equally disgraceful.

Promises and money spent is just government window dressing. We all know the problem is the transports. 90% of the accidents & road closures are caused by transports. Years ago you rarely heard of an accident involving transport. The recent revelation about the corruption involved with new transport drivers getting their permits speaks to the root of the problem. Instead of truck inspections we need DRIVER INSPECTIONS AND TESTING. It is too easy to get a license to drive.
