De-icing issues causing ongoing flight delays at Sault Airport
SooToday 9This winter has been a disaster. I was stranded a month ago in Toronto for two days. Fortunately I was paid for two nights at the Holiday Inn because it was not the weather but technical issues ( deicing) that cancelled my first flight and then weather the next day. A few of us were told we wouldn’t get a flight for three days and so we rented a mini van and paid an arm and a leg as no company wanted us to do a one way to the Soo.What with the deicing disasters and the weather, travelling to and from the Soo by plane is a disaster.
