'I'm innocent' claims man charged with running an unlicensed taxi service

Of course it's this guy lol

Oh no, not a bad word. Are you as concerned about the massive rise in violent crime in Canada? Or the fact that many criminals are released on bail only to reoffend? The statistics prove this, along with hundreds of examples across the country in the media. Innocent Canadians are falling victim to these policies, and yet the Liberals and the media are turning a blind eye.

@soojavu... so you're concerned about conservative spending but not the party that goes 20 billion+ a year over their budget? All while sending 10s of billions a year to other countries, taxing us into the ground, flooding the country with over 1 million immigrants a year in the midst of a housing shortage, patting themselves on the back for spending billions on their gun control nonsense which only serves to take hunting rifles away from law abiding citizens while crime rates and gun violence increase, refusing to even acknowledge the drug epidemic that kills thousands of Canadians every year, standing by their failed harm reduction drug addiction model which only serves to enable addicts instead of getting them the help they need... claiming the carbon tax is necessary especially on "big polluters" even though Canada is only responsible for 1.5% of the worlds carbon emissions and in turn driving large companies out of the country where it's cheaper to operate and on and on and on

What a pathetic joke. Apparently it's open season on law abiding citizens sleeping in their own beds. Guess he should have just rolled over and died

Longtime... you are only proving my point. Dismissing a tough on crime approach as "Trump style" is pathetic liberal nonsense. Go find your own sources, even locally with all the examples of homeless encampments terrorizing residents, police media releases reporting arrests of people with long criminal records, out on bail reoffending again and again. Multiple police unions stating the same thing across the country. You see it all, I know you do, your comments are all over this site... yet somehow you always manage to perform some pretty impressive mental gymnastics to avoid putting 2+2 together

People who allow their cats to free roam in the city on other peoples properties are so ignorant. No one wants your cat using their gardens as a litter box and setting off other peoples pets at all hours.

For the life of me I can't understand how after 10 years of Liberal lies and false promises they can flip the script and promise many of the same things the Conservatives have been saying we need all along while not taking any responsibility for the state of our country and people still believe Pollievre is the big bad wolf

Are you as concerned about how the Liberals pay for all of their spending over the last decade that they have lied about every step of the way? Ignoring our veterans, growing drug and crime epidemic while sending 10s of billions of dollars a year to other countries, billions to mainstream media that lay off thousands of employees while giving executives 10s of millions in bonuses?

Well I think it's a pretty cool project that a lot of people will enjoy even though I probably won't use it myself. But maybe I should leave an angry comment like almost everyone else on here. Seems like many would only be happy if this city only spent money on things that directly benefited them.

Until we know for sure what causes it and how, it's equally as ridiculous to be so confident that tylenol, or anything else for that matter isn't the cause.

Now you're reaching. This isn't even close to the same thing

Longtime... Hahaha I figured that would be your highly intelligent reply. All of the crime statistics are available on the statcanada website. They back up everything Poilievre is saying. But watching the cbc report on it, they are more concerned with Poilievre's use of the notwithstanding clause because "even if murders are eligible for parole, it probably won't happen" and their experts... criminal defence lawyers. Nothing about the readily available statistics and the Canadians who fall victim.

There needs to be forced treatment for mental health and addiction. It's unacceptable that law abiding citizens have to put up with this kind of nonsense. Our own Prime Minister downplays the drug epidemic in Canada that kills thousands of people every year. The harm reduction model only enables these people to carry on living like this instead of actually helping them. Time for a change

Will be much safer and more reliable in the winter when highways are always closed

Playing the victim? Pathetic. This place should have never been opened beside a high school. The public begged and pleaded with council to reconsider but were ignored. Everyone with half a brain knew this was going to be a disaster, and it has been right from the start. The school board and parents are fed up and deserve better than this.

Nothing but negativity every time the City spends any money literally anything. Personally I much prefer my taxes going towards projects that preserve and improve this city rather than projects that attract more addicts and criminals. Providing a place that families actually want to raise their kids in is what will grow our city and attract people. Seems like people will only be happy if they can drive to work and back on perfect roads with little else to do.
