My comments posted in previous article:There are over 10,000 Franco-Ontarians in North Bay alone — a fact supported by census data and evident in the number of French-language schools throughout the city. This is not new; the francophone presence has been significant for decades.French and English are the official languages of Canada. Flying the Franco-Ontarian flag is not a courtesy — it is a minimal and necessary acknowledgment of this reality. The City must go further by prioritizing the expansion of services in French. Anything less falls short of its obligations to a large and longstanding part of its population.

It links longer ER waits to hospital funding pressures, staffing shortages, and increasing patient demand. Recent community discussions from North Bay residents also describe overnight ER waits commonly reaching 10–14 hours for non-life-threatening issues. Vic Fideli and Doug Ford, how long do you have to wait? You do have money to waste on a private jet. Forget the "buck a beer" and photo-ops and start making a difference for the people you are representing.
