A big city.. a forward thinking city would totally allow Westmount Mall to become an office hub. Employees at that site will reside in that district to access work and all the amenities that the Southwest offers. To say... nope.. you're coming downtown to a downtown that has yet to prove itself is a mindset that hasn't worked yet . We call ourselves the FOREST CITY... STOP ACTING LIKE LONDON IN THE BUSH.

Ferreira said allowing them to move will hurt downtowns recovery?? Recovery?? Pray tell when that is going to happen ? As I have stated before , a forward thinking City will recognize the winds of change. The tenant has expressed their reason to move. Move to a suburban environment where parking is abundant, great neighbourhoods and schools are available for the employees children . I appreciate that Cities used to have had a bustling and vibrant downtown . With record setting vacancy rate of office space available in the core, the City should focus on attracting other outside business to relocate . Relying on Carfax to be the catalyst of regrowth in the core is the reason we are in the situation we are. Approve the Westmount site. It will eventually fill. In the mean time, I would suggest you focus on dealing with the very reason that Londoner's don't want to go to the core.

Get Cameron Crane on the job. Lift the vehicle to safety so she can use it. City pays the bill. Next problem ?

What an insane statement in this day and age. " Teachers will have to manage more students and challenges in the classroom". "If you're doing crowd control , it's hard to teach when you're just trying to stay safe." Free Press is great for reaching out and getting opinions about Canada Day and other fun stuff. Randy Richmond could win another award if he reached out to teacher's who are on summer break. Get the real story Randy. They are the front line. Get their outlooks, views and what they would like to see this September.

Dipesh Patel bought 43 properties with LHSC monies. Perhaps Jainishkumar Patel wants to keep it in the family

Well Adam...you obviously are numb as to what goes on in classrooms today as relayed to me by many teacher friends. Friends Adam... people who ...forget it.

It would be more cost effective to crane her vehicle to safety and she can have full use of it. Filling the job site in every night and starting over in the morning would be much more costly than an hour crane rental. Come on guys.

Super scary if that's the case. Godspeed to him for a quick , full recovery.

I would be interested to know how much government money the organizer got to put on that weekend. Add to that, the vendor fees for being there. Don't get me wrong...it's the largest festival in the area. He takes on the risk... and reaps a huge reward. Good for him. Still like to know though as it is a public space.

Doesn't need to be several blocks. Just on the other side of the trench somewhere.
