How about real responsibilities, monetary penalties for construction delayes, for not being present on construction site to check out progress? For several months nothing was going on and city did not act,o I am sorry bike lines snow clearing was an urgent, emergency, dooms day Case that must be addressed. What a sorry story this place has become.
What a burocratic sweet talk.Guelph Roads are nicely painted for a crosswalk and bike lanes. There are several road potholes, uneven road surfaces, uneven mating edges at joining sections at the University of Guelph untouched for a more than a year. What about manholes, either to deep or way above road surfaces all over Guelph roads.I guess unless it's sinkhole on the road,City will not do repair.
This is not a very first time seeing decisions making like above mentioned that cost Guelph taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars. Do you remember when City was going to transfer Hidro billing process to "Electra"?Ooo ,it is going to save money so City can invest in other important projects! It did cost Guelph taxpayers $700 000 in order to help "Electra" get going for charging Guelph taxpayers extra money in order to save us a money 🤑.Guess what,"Electra" does not want to save us money anymore and Guelph taxpayers will again be paying around $700 000 so City of Guelph can send us Hidro billing paperwork!!!!And our taxes are going, going, going through the roof.We don't deserve anything better as long as we do not hold City office responsible for the money that they keep spending.
