Before anymore public donations, or taxpayer funds are dispersed, I would suggest and independent forensic audit of the books be completed. It is unreasonable an organization continued to operate without submitting employer remittances. All boards of this nature are required to have an annual general meeting that includes a presentation from the auditors. Either they missed the error which is completely unacceptable, or the people in charge of doing the remittances willfully did not do so.

Hopefully they put one up at Algonquin and the bypass, especially the double left turn lane.

@longtime2 With 2.58 Billion in record revenue to the Gov't in 2023, why would one want to break it up? Sort of like biting the hand that feeds you. If you cannot go to a LCBO, Beer Store or Grocery store in a seven day period. Access is not the problem. Where is the governments concern on inflation, homelessness, my health care etc. which has already started to become to tier.

You want to encourage recycling, pick it up recycling every week. Add green boxes and only pick up garbage every second week. Worked amazing when we lived in Vaughan.

I am happy you were not injured and thankful you took the task of helping others. It is too bad you witnessed the fury and strength of nature, but at the same time witnessed the compassion of others. Thank you to all the volunteers, workers and campers who aided everyone.
