34Think about it..most of us are scared to go downtown in broad daylight..I'm cautious about where I park now in case I get stabbed..shot or hit with a 2 x 4 or set on fire and the city wants to put in a pool and beach where people are scared to go..it will be full of garbage..drug paraphernalia..piles of dirty clothes and drug addicts walking like zombies..you can't make something pretty if it is already destroyed

SooTodayI have lived in this heritage neighborhood for more than forty years..no one wants to see a piece of land just sit..the problem isn't not in my neighborhood..the issue is what is being built in a heritage neighborhood..the proposed buildings are an eye sore with absolutely no architectural appeal..its really ugly..why not go with something like Pim Street development..it fits beautifully with the heritage neighborhood Traffic flow needs to be discussed..main entrance on McDonald Avenue is so unsafe..will parking on McDonald and Gladstone be restricted..Be careful what you wish for..an apartment building or condo could be built beside any single family dwelling now the bylaw has been allowed.
