The Ford government has spent billions expediting beer to corner stores. They willingly gave up revenue in many streams including license plate renewal. They are ready to mail cheques out to taxpayers yet health care is crumbling? Many Ontarian's are without primary care. These monies & the lost billions the feds gave to the Province for Covid relief are still missing. This is all money that could have gone in to education, housing and health care. This was a disaster in the making by Ford in order to privatize as much as possible as a palatable solution while money is wasted elsewhere. We are paying dearly for what the Province is responsible for. Maybe the Ford government could divert the funds being spent on TV ads promoting themselves into healthcare solutions?

So Canadore has paid salaries of two administrators to set the program off that never got off the ground? This whole thing has been questionable since day one. Seems like there is more to the story.

Buying votes with taxpayers own money.

Vic has become a true foot soldier for Ford. He is become a disappointment from where he was a few years ago as a member of the Legislature. Any email reply’s are cut & paste of a litany of accomplishments that have nothing to do with the question. I think he was a good MP years again but now he is just sings out of Doug’s Developer handbook.

Time to look at Cameras for red light enforcement. It would generate revenue as well.

Does Council not understand that taxpayers are tired of funding these vanity projects?

How does he get house insurance even?

Billions of dollars that the LCBO sends back to the province will be lost with opening up access to private stores. That’s billions of dollars that could be spent on health care & education in this Province.

The bylaw needs to be enforced on the City Walking trails where dogs are off leash all the time. The part of the Bike trail near waterfront from Gorman St to downtown has literally been turned in to an off leash dog park by dog owners. That’s despite the signage posted by City that dogs must be on leash. Without bylaw enforcement owners continue to unleash dogs routinely. Seems we are waiting for someone to be bitten before preventing this.

There isn't a more derogatory term that is used to identify patients who require specialized care. We simply do not have enough nursing home beds and we don't have complex care beds for those with complex needs like dementia. Mr. Ford would like to simplify this in to something it is not.

Send them back to the table and tell them to find some savings first. They can start by cutting the communications paid position and let the chief or deputy speak to issues when they arise.

Mr Lowery is the only one that voted according to how he campaigned.

We desperately need a Ward system. Perhaps then if you raised an issue the ward councillor might address it. As it is now, they just have you go round in circles.

Shame on the Board for such tactics. Hopefully we will see the last of Chirico soon enough. How did Mendicino get appointed to the Board anyway?

Since the Mayors expenses were approved then I assume there was no violation. That’s part of the problem. The whole thing begs the question why did Council support the Mayor and how did the CAO not be sanctioned in some way. What a colossal embarrassment this has been.

Ford will say anything to keep the conversation off important issues in the Province. It’s just a gimmick to attract 905 voters.

Its concerning that a any Board can simply dismiss members without cause or process.

Did they not hire a traffic enforcement officer last year?

The Mayor needs to resign. This has been a colossal waste of money and time because of his nonsense. Shame on those particular councilors that did not hold him,and the CAO who authorized the expenses, to accountability. The "I stand with Peter Group" didn't think they had to stand with the taxpayers.

Anyone who has tried to contact the Mayor by email or phone would not be surprised as to why the Board went public.
