Green space should be protected for the health and happiness of Guelph residents. It is a concern that Guelph has been allowing developers to pay to provide less parkland etc. I believe it would be a huge mistake for them to develop the former Kortright Waterfowl Park.

I haven't watched his podcast yet, but, have no doubt it will be balanced and interesting as was his program The Agenda. He never inserted his personal opions and had all sides represented. True journalism.

, I remember a 2013 council member suggesting many of us would be riding bicycles by 2026! We need experts, not ideologues making decisions that have such a big imapct. It's true that things have changed in eleven years, but, even at that time, it seemed a stretch to suggest such an extreme change in habits. Separated paths seem like a good idea for cyclists as well as drivers, but, should not be a priority over other , much needed projects, as mentioned above.

It's sad to think that, in spite of police efforts, there is still so much of this taking place. You would think that with today's sophisticated technology, there must be a way to block it from even getting out online.

I'm curious to know the cost of the investigation and report, which were completed by the integrity commissioner.

Congratulations to the youth who received the grants and all those involved. My guess is that their efforts will provide more cost effective climate intiatives than many that the governments spend millions on.

One small measure that the university could take, is to not allow students who already live locally, to live in residence. I know it's a wonderful experience, but, with the shortage it could open up some spots. Perhaps they've already done so.

If memory serves, it was the request of numerous, late changes to the new city hall, that ended in expensive litigation. I do believe that, although it seems reasonable to have some changes , there should be accountability for staff who oversee a project that ends in very expensive lawsuits. Mistakes can happen and are human, but, this city seems to have more than it's share.
