16It's because they are stupid and have no regard for other Humans. The penalties are not strong enough and, when they can plead guilty to Careless Driving to avoid Impaired, it's the courts and Crown Attournies that contribute to the next time they drink and drive. Second offense and you are banned for life and the car, even if it's not theirs, is confiscated!. Gone for good!

POLL: Most support province's curbs on new bike lanes
The basic question I ask is, would you take your bike (car) to work if transit was free? Develop recreational biking paths and leave the streets alone! The "millions" spent on bike lanes could then go to offset lost fares. I would consider making the fare a loonie to track ridership. As it turns out, the more riders the more the Province provides funding....
